Andrew N. Swank

Andrew N. Swank of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of Salem, Missouri, was born January 25, 1939 at Salisbury, Pennsylvania and left from this life on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Cuba Manor at the age of 77 years. Andrew spent his whole life working as a lumber jack and retired when his health began to decline. Andrew enjoyed fishing and was known for telling big fishing stories. Andrew was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Andrew is preceded in death by his wife Clara Swank, daughter Kathy Swank and other family and friends. Those who are left to treasure his memory and to continue his legacy is his loving children; Nola Swank of Kansas City, Missouri, Donna Swank of Bourbon and Andrew DeShurley, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother Richard Swank of Salem, two sisters Lola Swank and Myrtle Adams both of Salem, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Salem, Missouri. The Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the Swank family.
