Alice Brewer

Alice Brewer of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Andrew and Cora (Stubblefield) Carroll on February 10, 1904 in Cuba, Missouri and left from this life on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the age of 103 years, 11 months and 3 days. Alice was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking and planting flowers. Most of all she enjoyed the time that she spent with her family. Alice is preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Cora (Stubblefield) Carroll; two husbands Roy Odo Brewer and George Warnhoff; one son Pinckney Andrew Brewer; one daughter Faye Parnell; three brothers Bradford, Charles and Raymond Carroll; five sisters Clara Giesler, Nora Wassershied, Florence Brewer, Fanny Brewer and Veda. Those who are left to celebrate her life and to continue her legacy are her four daughters Margaret Senecal of St. James, Missouri, Janet Bialock of Cuba, Missouri, Jean Merritt of Cuba, Missouri and Renae Cassidy of Steelville, Missouri; one son Donald Brewer of Cuba, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, thirty-four great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation: Tuesday, January 15, 2008 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri. Funeral: Tuesday, January 15, 2008 1:00 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Beers, officiating. Interment: Kinder Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
