Aileen A. Vanderbeck

Aileen Ann 郢邀邜Allie郢邀邝 VanDerBeck of Cuba was born Friday, March 4, 1932 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Joseph Michael Witte and Bernice Irene (nee: Patton) Witte and left from this life on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at St. Louis, Missouri. Allie was united in marriage to Jeremiah 郢邀邜Jerry郢邀邝 VanDerBeck and to this union two sons were born Jay and Perry. Allie was the owner/operator and teacher of a pre school in Florissant for many years. In 2002 Allie moved to Cuba were she has enjoyed playing golf, was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, volunteered at the St. James Soldiers Home and was always helping others. She loved her dogs and cows, enjoyed traveling, the race horses and White Castles, but what meant the most to her was spending time with family and friends. Allie was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Allie is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Bernice Witte, husband Jerry VanDerBeck, one sister Catherine Conroy, one brother Joseph James Witte and other relatives and friends. Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy is her sons Jay and wife Cindy VanDerBeck of Cuba and Perry VanDerBeck of Tampa, Florida, five grandchildren J.C. (Val), Jamie, Joseph, Jennifer and Brittani, one sister Mary Wishon, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation Tuesday, August 11th from 6 till 8 PM at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba and Wednesday, August 12th from 9 till 11 AM at St. Sabina Catholic Church of Florissant, (1625 Swallow, Florissant). Celebration of mass will be 11 AM Wednesday, August 12th at St. Sabina Catholic Church with Father James Finder as celebrant. Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association in Allie memory. The Britton Funeral Home of Cuba is honored to be serving the VanDerBeck family.
