Bonnie L. Bockover of Cuba, Missouri was born Sunday, February 20, 1938 at Leasburg, Missouri to the union of James M. and Hazel Gladine (Nee: Osborne) Eoff. She left from this life, surrounded by family, on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at her home in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 81 years.

Bonnie spent her life taking care of her family, home and everyone else. She enjoyed listening to the Oldies Station on the radio, watching western movies and shows; especially the ones with actor Randolph Scott.

She spent hours outside planting and taking care of her flowers. She was famous for her Christmas candy and her cooking/baking was amazing. Going for a car ride always made Bonnie smile. What she truly loved most in life was taking care of and spoiling her family.

She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law and friend of many. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parent James M. and Hazel G. Eoff; one son, Jessie Lee Bockover; six siblings, Al Eoff, Lloyd Eoff, Robert Eoff, James Eoff, infant Jimmy Eoff, Gladine Land, Della Cook and other family and friends.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving children, James and wife Joy Bockover of Cuba, Robert Bockover of Cuba, Leroy Bockover of Cuba, Vera Valley and fiancé Bobby Dill of Rolla, Dalton Valley-Mendoza of Kansas City, Missouri; eight amazing grandchildren, Jamie Rocha of Rolla, Amanda and husband Jose Maldonado of Rolla, Bonnie and husband David Baggett of Newburg, Bobby Ray Bockover of Missouri, Shannon and husband Chris Barnwell of Lebanon, Missouri, Daniele Bockover of Cuba, Jessica and husband Cody Elrod of Cuba, Veronica and husband Lance Pewitt of Cuba; twenty three spoiled great grandchildren; one brother Leroy and wife Helen Eoff of Bourbon; one sister Dorothy and husband John Veach of Cuba, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at the Mizell Funeral Home, 904 W Washington Street, Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Mizell Funeral Home. Special recorded music will be “Flowers for Momma”, “Will the Circle Be Unbroken”, “The Old Rugged Cross” and “My Angel”.

Interment and prayers will follow at the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, Missouri.

Honored to serve as casket bearers are Jose Maldonado, Chris Budrow, David Baggett, Chris Barnwell, Bobby Ray Bockover and Gary Land.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.

The Mizell Funeral Home is honored to serve Bonnie’s family.

One of my favorite memories of Aunt Bonnie is her dancing with her sister Ruth (the baby of the family) and her husband Ron Roach of Sullivan, Mo. She loved the song "Old Time Rock and Roll"! Whenever she heard this she was up and dancing no matter where we were whether in the grocery store, parking lot or in the house. This is one of my treasured memories of Aunt Bonnie and I will continue to think of her any time I hear this song.
