Barbara J. White of Cuba, Missouri was born Monday, April 26, 1951 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She left from this life on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Life Care Center in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 68 years.

Barb worked through the years at U Save Café, Rock Fair and Coverdell Glass Company. She never ever met a stranger. With her quick wit and sass, she was always the life of the party and her smile could light up a room. She enjoyed going and listening to the Lorraine Bros. play music.
Barb spent years collecting jewelry. She spent hours shopping for antiques and she enjoyed her collection. What she treasured most in life was spending time with her family and friends.
Barb was a loving daughter, wife, mother, stepsister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Barb is preceded in death by her father Harold Lloyd Helms; one sister Deborah “Debbie” Boldt; two brothers-in-law Vernon White and Timothy White.
Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her loving husband Fred White; one son Charles White; parents Maxine and Jim Sturgell all of Cuba, Missouri; two step-brothers James W. and wife Maggie Sturgell, Jr. of Affton, Missouri, Bruce Sturgell of Hillsboro, Missouri; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Robert White of Cuba, Missouri, Paul and wife Lisa White of St. Louis, Missouri, Bill White of Steelville, Missouri, Donna Metcalf of Steelville, Missouri, James Burris, Jr. of Cherryville, Missouri; two nephews, David Jones of Bonaire, Georgia and Shane Boldt of Cuba, Missouri; one niece Dawn Boldt of Forsyth, Georgia; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 11:00 a.m. at Mizell Funeral Home.
In keeping with her wishes, Barb will be cremated following the visitation and funeral service.
If desired, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
